Associação cria prêmio para piores personagens da TV

O Conselho Regional de Serviço Social do Rio de Janeiro (CRESS-RJ) está lançando um prêmio para as piores personagens da TV, o “Visibilidade Distorcida”. A troféu pretende contemplar papéis e programas que retratem de forma pejorativa, equivocada e ofensiva os profissionais de serviço social.

Nesta primeira edição concorrem ao título as personagens Umbelina (foto), do humorístico “Zorra Toral”,  Diva, da novela “Insensato Coração”, Wanda, de “Salve Jorge”; e “Evelin”, do seriado “SOS Hospital”. As quatro produções são da Globo e já receberam várias reclamações de profissionais ligados ao serviço social. As personagens que disputam o prêmio são assistentes sociais e debocham da profissão. No caso de Wanda, vivida por Totia Meireles, o maior problema era sua ligação com uma quadrilha de criminosos.

É dessa maneira que a categoria de profissionais de serviço social pretende se manifestar publicamente contra a forma como é retratada na ficção .
