Band deixa Copa do Brasil e Globo busca parceira

Loteada por Copa do Mundo, Brasileirão e outros campeonatos de futebol internacionais, a Band abriu mão da transmissão da Copa do Brasil e da série B do Campeonato Brasileiro em 2014.

A emissora não comenta oficialmente o assunto, mas o mercado publicitário já foi informado de que esses jogos não estarão disponíveis na grade de programação da rede no próximo ano e estão de fora do pacote de patrocínios do futebol em 2014. Não tem volta.

Com isso, a Globo, dona dos direitos de exibição da Copa do Brasil, perdeu a sua principal parceira na divisão de transmissão do evento na TV aberta.

Uma proposta já foi feita ao SBT, oferecendo o campeonato por um preço camarada.

No entanto, a emissora de Silvio Santos não demonstrou interesse em adquirir o evento. SS não quer voltar a investir em futebol.

A Globo não descarta a possibilidade de dividir a transmissão com a Record, que ainda não sinalizou se quer ou não ter a Copa do Brasil em sua programação de 2014.

A RedeTV! ambiciona ficar com a série B do Brasileirão, mas precisa captar recursos para garantir a compra.

Procurada, a Globo diz que não há definições sobre a divisão de transmissão da Copa do Brasil.
