Após seis meses afastado de suas funções na Globo, o diretor Carlos Araújo está voltando a trabalhar na emissora.
Escalado por ser o diretor-geral de “Sangue Bom”, novela das 19h que está chegando ao fim nesta semana, Araújo foi afastado das gravações em maio, após ser acusado de agredir a assistente de direção da trama, que chegou a abrir um boletim de ocorrência na ocasião.
Seu afastamento ocorreu na segunda semana de exibição da novela, que teve a sua equipe de direção reformulada às pressas na emissora. Dennis Carvalho, diretor de núcleo, assumiu as gravações.
Na época, a Globo tentou abafar a confusão, que foi noticiada por jornais cariocas com detalhes de alcova entre os envolvidos.
Seis meses depois, Araújo está de volta ao canal em projeto com supervisão de João Emanuel Carneiro. Trata-se da série “A Segunda Dama”, de Heloísa Perissé, que deve estrear em janeiro. A trama conta a história de duas irmãs gêmeas, uma pobre e uma rica, que trocam de lugar.
Procurados, emissora e diretor não comentam os motivos do afastamento por tanto tempo. A Globo diz apenas que Araújo esteve fora, cuidando de um assunto pessoal, e está de volta ao trabalho.
