Canal de filmes mais velhinhos de Hollywood, o TCM estreia no dia 21 a sua primeira coprodução nacional, na busca pelo cumprimento de cotas de produção brasileira exigidas pela lei de TV paga em vigor.

Trata-se da série documental “Elas”, com 40 episódios que mostram a evolução feminina ao longo dos anos por meio de histórias de ícones que marcaram época.

Apresentada por Luciana Vendramini, a atração é uma parceria do canal pago com a produtora Mocho.

A série reúne grandes divas nacionais que têm suas trajetórias revisitadas com imagens de arquivos, entrevistas pessoais inéditas e relatos de amigos e familiares ligados a elas.

Normal Bengell está entre as homenageadas. Ela concedeu ao programa uma de suas últimas entrevistas, na qual falou sobre os seus trabalhos de destaque.

Os episódios de “Elas” estão divididos em subgêneros como: “Musas da Pornochanchada”, “Divas do Cinema”,  “Bastidores” e “Retomada”.
