Demorou, mas Luiz Fernando Carvalho está de volta à TV, envolvido no universo de Clarice Lispector.

O novo filhote do diretor é a série “Correio Feminino”,  baseada em crônicas de Clarice, escritas sob o pseudônimo de Helen Palmer, em colunas femininas de jornais  nos anos 1950 e 1960.

A produção estreia no dia 27, dentro do “Fantástico” (Globo) —que está passando por grandes mudanças na Globo.

A atriz Maria Fernanda Cândido dá voz a Helen Palmer na série. Os quadros são narrados pela personagem, que tem um programa de rádio e TV. Helen está sempre pronta a socorrer leitoras aflitas, em conversas intimistas que tratam de questões que permeiam o universo feminino até os dias de hoje como beleza, amor, moda, família, casamento, maternidade e sedução.

No elenco também estão a modelo Cintia Dicker, que faz a “adolescente”; a atriz e ex-modelo Luiza Brunet, na pele da “mulher madura”; e a atriz Alessandra Maestrini, que dá vida à “mulher jovem”. Elas representam gerações distintas e as várias facetas do feminino.

“O figurino e a produção de arte respeitam a época. A linguagem evoca o período, mas a forma de fazer é contemporânea”, explica Luiz Fernando.
