Gugu está voltando. O apresentador e o SBT fazem cara de paisagem, mas o retorno dele à emissora já está acertado. Gugu, que deixou a Record em junho, vem descansando sua imagem em “período sabático”, como ele diz, e anda pesquisando formatos de programas para retornar ao ar renovado.

No entanto, seu acordo com Silvio Santos está bem encaminhado e o patrão deve atender a um desejo do pupilo: Gugu quer voltar aos sábados à noite, horário que o lançou ao sucesso como apresentador no saudoso “Viva a Noite”, uma espécie de recomeço. Em um primeiro momento, Gugu faria uma volta gradativa, com especiais, para depois assumir um programa.

Por enquanto, ele não quer retornar à guerra de audiência dos domingos.
