Globo adia planos de nova faixa de novelas às 23h
A Globo vinha trabalhando com a ideia de oficializar em 2014 uma nova faixa de novelas dedicada a remakes de sucesso: a das 23h. Vinha. O desempenho aquém do esperado de “Saramandaia” jogou um balde de água fria nos planos da emissora.
Com elenco de primeira e um grande investimento em efeitos especiais, o surrealismo da trama de Dias Gomes não encantou o público agora na versão adaptada por Ricardo Linhares.
A Folha apurou que um dos problemas identificados pela Globo é a falta de química do casal protagonista, vivido por José Mayer e Lilia Cabral. O público não torce por eles.
Os personagens bizarros, como Dona Redonda (Vera Holtz), não causaram impacto ou expectativa.
A novela vem registrando média na casa dos 14 pontos, bem abaixo de suas antecessoras no horário, “Gabriela” e “O Astro”, que marcaram cerca de 19 pontos de audiência. A meta da emissora na faixa é de 18 pontos.
Cada ponto equivale a 62 mil domicílios na Grande SP.
Entre os novelões que estão na fila das 23h da Globo para ganhar nova versão, estão “O Rebu” (1974), “O Semideus” (1973), “Tieta” (1989) e “Xica da Silva” (1996).
Procurada, a Globo diz que continuará com o esquema de temporadas e não pensa em criar uma faixa fixa.
