Assinante de TV paga vê o dobro de TV aberta

Os 17 milhões de assinantes de TV paga no Brasil já atrapalham o sono, por anos tranquilo, da TV aberta. Mas dados do Ibope mostram que o assinante paga para assistir a Globo, Record, SBT, Band e RedeTV!.

Segundo medição de audiência na TV por assinatura de janeiro a agosto de 2013, o assinante brasileiro passou em média 6 horas por dia sintonizado em canais abertos no serviço de TV por assinatura. Os canais pagos, que são em número bem maior, conseguiram fisgar a atenção do assinante por metade desse tempo: 3h/dia.

Com relação ao alcance, os canais abertos atingem 85% dos domicílios com TV por assinatura no país, e os canais pagos, 34%. O Ibope não divulga a participação de canais pagos e abertos na audiência da TV por assinatura, mas a Folha apurou que cerca  de 65% do ibope da TV paga vem dos canais abertos.

Entre os canais pagos, os que possuem o maior tempo médio de permanência de público são os infantis: 53 minutos por dia. Além da fidelidade das crianças, muitas delas não sabem ainda mexer no controle remoto.

O tempo médio diário dedicado aos canais de filmes é bem menor, cerca de 25 minutos. Mesmo assim, estão à frente dos esportivos, que possuem média de permanência de 23 minutos por dia.
