A Folha apurou que, após o ocorrido, a Globo reforçou a segurança em torno de sua sede, na zona sul de São Paulo, e está estudando colocar um filtro ou trocar os vidros do estúdio panorâmico do jornalismo.
A invasão de laser no “SPTV” já havia acontecido duas outras vezes, com Carlos Tramontina no comando do jornalístico.
Em uma delas, no início de julho, durante cobertura das manifestações lideradas pelo Movimento Passe Livre em São Paulo, a luz ficou no rosto do apresentador por quase um bloco inteiro do noticiário.
Inaugurado em 2008, o estúdio panorâmico da Globo em São Paulo possui paredes e colunas de vidro e permite uma visão de 180 graus da cidade. Ao fundo da bancada, é possível ver a marginal Pinheiros.
Procurada, a Globo diz que não comenta medidas de segurança.
