Próxima do fim, a MTV Brasil teve de cancelar um de seus especiais de despedida.

A emissora havia marcado para a última quinta-feira (22) uma espécie de Dia do Rap. Seria uma programação com vários shows ao vivo na porta da sede da emissora, na zona oeste de São Paulo.

Na última hora, a Companhia de Engenharia de Tráfego (CET) proibiu a realização do evento, que seria transferido para hoje.

Na mesma quinta-feira, a emissora recebeu um novo ofício da CET dizendo que, mesmo no sábado, a realização do evento seria autorizada somente se a emissora musical garantisse que apenas 250 pessoas iriam à porta da MTV.

Sem ter como garantir um público tão pequeno —afinal, as bandas de rap participantes divulgaram bem o evento—, a MTV teve de desistir da comemoração. Para completar, o Grupo Abril, mantenedor do canal, proibiu a realização dos shows na porta da sede.

A notícia gerou burburinho nas redes sociais e reclamações de todas as partes. A MTV Brasil entregará no final de setembro a sua marca para a Viacom, proprietária do nome, que vai lançar uma nova MTV só na TV paga.
