A TV Corinthians vai fechar as suas portas.
Fruto de uma parceria realizada em 2011 entre o Sport Club Corinthians e a rede de televisão TV +, o canal ficou endividado, não conseguiu entrar na grade das grandes operadoras como a Net e sairá do ar nos próximos dias.
Por meses, o Grupo Bandeirantes negociou com o clube paulista para se tornar sócio do projeto.
A ideia era realizar uma espécie de integração com a produção do BandSports, plano que chegou a ser montado para entrar em vigor ainda neste ano. No entanto, o clube desistiu da empreitada e não quer mais investir em um canal de TV.
A Folha apurou que o prejuízo da TV Corinthians está na casa dos R$ 4 milhões.
Com sede no Parque São Jorge, centro de treinamento do Corinthians, o canal pago teve cerca de 80 funcionários, além das parcerias com produtoras independentes.
Em sua programação, a TVC exibia treinos do time profissional de futebol, além de outras modalidades do clube como vôlei, basquete e futsal.
A TV Corinthians deixará de ser transmitida na TVA no próximo dia 30. Nas operadoras Oi e NeoTV, sairá do ar no dia 7 de setembro.
