Sindicato pede cassação da concessão da RedeTV!
O Sindicato dos Trabalhadores em Empresas de Radiodifusão e Televisão no Estado de São Paulo enviou uma carta à presidente Dilma Rousseff, pedindo a cassação da concessão da RedeTV!.
Na carta, protocolada em Brasília, o órgão critica a administração da emissora e a renovação da concessão da RedeTV!, atribuindo ao canal uma série de irregularidades financeiras e trabalhistas.
A Constituição brasileira diz que a radiodifusão de sons (rádios) e de sons e imagens (canal de TV) é um serviço público que é prestado no regime de concessão, dada pelo governo federal.
Na carta, o sindicato acusa a RedeTV! de descontar dos empregados o INSS, sem repassar o montante aos cofres da Previdência Social. Diz ainda que os funcionários demitidos não conseguem receber o Fundo de Garantia nem a multa de 40% em cima das verbas rescisórias.
Procurada, a RedeTV! afirma que está absolutamente em dia com suas obrigações trabalhistas.
A rede afirma que o sindicato se refere ao depósito de Fundo de Garantia de funcionários da extinta TV Manchete, cuja concessão foi passada para a RedeTV!. A emissora diz que já venceu uma batalha na Justiça em que ficou determinado que ela não é sucessora das dívidas da Manchete.
