A Cennarium TV, especializada em captar em vídeo peças de teatro, prepara-se para virar um canal de TV paga.

Disponível, até então, em serviços de vídeo sob demanda, a Cennarium TV acaba de ganhar a classificação de canal brasileiro de espaço qualificado, conferida pela Agência Nacional do Cinema (Ancine). Pela nova lei de TV paga em vigor, essa chancela torna o canal praticamente obrigatório nas operadoras de TV por assinatura.

O novo canal com conteúdo teatral está negociando a sua entrada nas operadoras Net, Sky e Telefônica. A intenção é firmar os acordos em três meses.

A emissora também tem conversado com operadoras de TV paga do Japão, Portugal e Estados Unidos, que já possuem canais voltados ao público brasileiro.

A Cennarium, em parceria com companhias de teatro, capta em vídeo peças de diferentes gêneros e as reproduz assim que os espetáculos saem de cartaz.

Com um acervo de 360 peças brasileiras, a Cennarium começou a gravar em 2012 espetáculos na França e pretende, no segundo semestre, captar material nos EUA.

A programação do canal também conta com outras atrações relacionadas ao teatro, com o infantil “Teatrar” e o programa de entrevistas “Em Cena”.
