Mais de 20 dias após o início das manifestações espalhadas pelo país, organizadas pelo Movimento Passe Livre, o assunto segue dominando a televisão.
Entre os dias 17 e 26 de junho, as emissoras abertas exibiram, somadas, cerca de 140 horas de transmissões de protestos pelo Brasil e reportagens sobre o tema.
Esse dado é fruto de um levantamento realizado pela empresa Controle da Concorrência, que monitora inserções comerciais na TV para o mercado publicitário.
Segundo o estudo, a campeã em tempo dedicado ao assunto no período é a Record, que colocou quase 48 horas de protestos no ar. O líder de exaustão na cobertura da emissora não poderia ser outro: “Cidade Alerta”, de Marcelo Rezende, que durante esses dez dias exibiu 17 horas de manifestações.
O levantamento mostra que, no período, a Globo abriu quase 34 horas de sua programação para o tema. O “Jornal Nacional” foi tomado pelo assunto, somando oito horas de reportagens e transmissões dos protestos nesses dias.
A Band dedicou 27 horas de sua grade às manifestações, nove horas só no “Brasil Urgente”. O SBT ficou cerca de 18 horas na cobertura dos protestos, oito horas somente no “Jornal do SBT Manhã”. A RedeTV! dedicou, no período, 12 horas ao assunto.
