Marcelo Silva, nomeado presidente da Record Rio no final da semana passada, vai assumir a vice-presidência do canal no lugar de Honorilton Gonçalves, força maior da emissora até então.
Silva assumiu a presidência da emissora no Rio no lugar de Cláudio Rodrigues, que deixou o cargo após sete meses de gestão.
Bispo licenciado da Igreja Universal do Reino de Deus, Honorilton era o braço direito do Bispo Edir Macedo, líder religioso da Universal e proprietário da Record. O vice-presidente era quem mandava de fato no dia a dia da emissora.
No entanto, Honorilton vinha enfrentando pressões internas para deixar o cargo. Teve de adotar uma drástica política de corte de gastos na rede e não estava obtendo os resultados esperados de audiência.
Eram rotineiros os boatos de que Honorilton deixaria o canal, mas ele permanecia firme e forte no comando da emissora. Agora, a saída concretizou-se.
Está previsto também que Fabiano Freitas, da Record Minas Gerais, deve assumir o comando da Record Rio.
Alexandre Raposo vai permanecer na presidência do canal.
