O novo canal, que terá muitos programas sobre animais, já pode nascer com a classificação de “canal brasileiro de espaço qualificado”, conferida pela Agência Nacional do Cinema (Ancine).

Pela nova lei de TV paga em vigor, os canais que receberam esse selo se tornam praticamente “obrigatórios” nos pacotes oferecidos pelas operadoras.

A Folha apurou que um dos cabeças do sigiloso projeto é o mergulhador e documentarista Lawrence Wahba, fundador da produtora Canal Azul. É justamente dessa produtora que parte um dos primeiros conteúdos do novo canal infantil.

Trata-se da série “Hora de Comer”, que mostrará às crianças curiosidades sobre o reino animal e dicas de alimentação e vida saudável.

A série, já em fase de produção, captará, por meio e lei de audiovisual, aproximadamente R$ 1,3 milhão.

Procuradas, Ancine e Sky não comentaram o assunto. A Canal Azul diz ter um acordo de confidencialidade com o novo canal.
